Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Bariloche, Argentina, Open Folk found its harmonious home in 2019, courtesy of the visionary efforts of Ine Guemes and Juan Nazar. Drawing inspiration from the awe-inspiring views surrounding the venue, Open Folk Bariloche offers a truly authentic and vibrant setting for folk music enthusiasts.

Throughout the year, Open Folk Bariloche adapts to the changing seasons, hosting outdoor shows during the summer months and moving indoors for cozy gatherings during the winter. Regardless of the setting, each event is imbued with the spirit of folk music, echoing through the mountains and resonating with the hearts of attendees.

In 2024, Open Folk Bariloche made history by co-producing an unforgettable event—the Open Folk Festival—in collaboration with Open Folk Buenos Aires. This three-day extravaganza brought together artists from across Argentina, uniting them in celebration of music and community against the backdrop of Bariloche's stunning scenery.
