OPEN FOLK

BUENOS AIRES

In the heart of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Open Folk found its roots in 2014, thanks to the vision of Co-Founders Fede Petro and Martin Grossman. The chapter blossomed, filling a musical gap in the city's dynamic landscape. Historic venues like Leit Motiv, El Gorrion Negro, and Espacio Korova bore witness to the movement's growth, culminating in a six-year residency at El Universal, where Open Folk meticulously crafted every aspect of its events. Today, Open Folk calls La Casa del Árbol home, continuing its tradition of fostering community and celebrating acoustic music.

Throughout its journey, Open Folk Buenos Aires has curated unforgettable experiences, including two standout festivals and the release of two albums that showcase the diverse talents of local and international artists. These initiatives have helped shape the cultural fabric of Buenos Aires, bringing together musicians and audiences in moments of shared creativity and connection.

Join us in the heart of Buenos Aires as we continue to write the next chapter of Open Folk's story now with curator David Amado & a team of amazing talented artists, honoring the city's rich musical heritage while embracing the spirit of innovation and collaboration.
